Notes on Battery Disposal
Since some of our products contain batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are legally obliged to inform you of the following:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end-user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries properly.
You can return used batteries free of charge to a municipal collection point or to retailers after use. Alternatively, you can send batteries back to us with sufficient postage.
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. This symbol means that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Below the symbol, the following chemical signs may also be indicated:
- Pb = Battery contains lead
- Cd = Battery contains cadmium
- Hg = Battery contains mercury
By disposing of batteries properly, you make an important contribution to protecting the environment and recycling valuable raw materials.
